Gabriel Brawley, CPA
Justin is a graduate of Texas Christian University, having obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2004. After obtaining the bachelor degree Justin also obtained a Master of Accounting degree from TCU in 2005. Justin is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas.
Justin started his career in public accounting while in school as an intern in 2003 and has remained in public practice throughout his career. Having worked in two mid-sized public accounting firms in Fort Worth, Justin came to work for his predecessor at the Granbury Firm in February 2010. In September of 2012 Justin purchased the Firm from Larry Mallon and has been the Managing Member since that time.
Although the current client needs primarily focus on income tax and small business services, Justin also has an extensive background in attestation services (financial statement audits) that he gained at his positions with prior firms. Although the Firm does not offer audit services, the experience in audit has proved to be very helpful in advising individuals and business owners.

Meet Our Staff
In addition to spending portions of her career homeschooling her children, Laurie has experience working in professional offices. She worked as a secretary for an attorney office in Fort Worth. Laurie has also functioned as a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the past.
Laurie joined the Firm in October of 2017 as the front desk receptionist and office manager.
Vickie started working in 1973. She then joined the US Navy in 1984. She started as an Officer's Secretary and in 1987 served as a budget analyst until 1991. Vickie worked in the Head Start Program for several years after leaving the Navy and also spent four years as a foster parent.
In 2004 Vickie went into public accounting working for a CPA Firm here in Granbury. Through a series of mergers, the clients of that Firm became clients of Justin R. Bowden, LLC. Although Vickie continues to do some bookkeeping for the Firm, she primarily works seasonally during tax season focusing on individual, non-profit, and partnership tax returns.
Gabriel is a graduate of Midwestern State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree in 1995, and worked as a parole officer for the State of Texas until 2006. As a member of the Navy Reserve from 1999 to 2007, he was deployed in support of operations Enduring Freedom and Noble Eagle from July 2005 to June 2006. In November of 2006, Gabriel began working for Freemon, Shapard, and Story as a staff accountant focusing on tax matters for all types of entities and individuals. He also performed compilation, review, and audit services on financial statements.
In June of 2014, after 8 years in public accounting, Gabriel stated working at Texas Pride Fuels as their accounting manager. While working there he also attended Midwestern State University to obtain the necessary hours needed to earn his CPA license. Gabriel was licensed on June 3, 2014 in the State of Texas, and moved back into public accounting when he joined the Firm in October of 2016.
Chrystal has received an Associates of Arts in Health Care Administration from the University of Phoenix. She also graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting in July of 2016. She is currently working on obtaining her Masters in Accounting degree from Tarleton State University, and expects to complete the program in August of 2018 which will qualify her as a CPA candidate. She has held a license of cosmetology since 2004 and has held various positions in the food service industry in the past.
Chrystal joined the Firm in July of 2014 as an intern, and in July of 2016 she started as a full time staff accountant with a focus on bookkeeping, payroll services, QuickBooks consultations and tax preparation.
